Submission for the annual Jerwood Drawing Prize 2017. Combining historic events, architecture and people all on a single piece of A2 to tell a story of popular human history. Look closer, and you’ll see the story of the past of juxtaposing elements of history that would have never been seen together, but share a common thread. An almost ‘what if‘ circumstance of introducing someone like Thomas Harriot the first man to map the moon hundreds of years before Neil Armstrong became the first man to walk upon it.
First sketched out in pencil on A2 paper, the piece was then penned with Indian Ink that would later be scanned for colouring in Adobe Photoshop.
